Appreciated this brand-new hotel, peaceful location and brand-new rooms. Booked a room with pleasant views, and the staff were extremely helpful and very amiable people at check-out. The provided breakfast was substantial and excellent. Location: the venue was short walk to nice cafés and restaurants, a supermarket, drugstore and various nice cafes and restaurants and the centre of Freiburg and the central train station. There was café Liebes Bisschen, that I found within 10 minutes' walk of the hotel. Actually everything was modern, my next choice again in Freiburg im Breisgau.
